It has been a busy week here in SLC. we learned this week that one of the assistant Zone Leaders was being transferred which will now double my work load. Our numbers continue to drop in the Zone and it is going to be hard to keep each library position occupied.
I learned this week where I got my middle name, Prentice. It come from George O Prentice who was born in Pennsylvania and married into the Powe line. Most of the temple work for his family has been done but his work is still pending.
Sharon and I had the opportunity to attended the Draper Temple this week, what a beautiful setting and temple. we also did a session at the Salt Lake Temple doing sealing work. good feelings and spiritual times.
We spent Friday afternoon with Chrissy and family. Enjoyed the grandchildren and the extremely beautiful weather. Saturday was spent on outings with our social group and choir group. We spent about 2 hours in the Daughter of the Utah Pioneers Museum here in Salt Lake. Wow was that fun and interesting. You need at least half a day there to see all the exhibits. There was this old piano ( big piano) that was hauled across the plains in a covered wagon, but when the oxen got to tired they buried it along the trail covered or wrapped it in buffalo hides. Then a year later came back and dug it up, it was beautiful. There were so many interesting things to look at. We will have to make a family date to tour it again!
Our evening was spent with the Elijah Choir social. lots of food and games. It was fun and entertaining.
Spring has sprung in all its glory here in the mountain west. The flowers around Temple Square are beautiful. It is such a great reminder of the renewal of life and the Savior's resurrection and atonement that makes life possible for us all.
May your week be fill with happiness and love.

I love the Draper temple too - I met my husband one night randomly at a session there!
